Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) in the Cardiac Telemetry department. The role supports RNs/LPNs to deliver personalized patient care on a fast-paced unit. Shift is full-time (36 hours/week) with nights and a $3,000 sign-on bonus for night shift.

Responsibilities include vital signs, patient assistance, and clerical tasks. Training is provided; no prior experience required. Benefits start day one and advancement to PCT is available.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC or enrollment in healthcare programs.
• No prior experience required — comprehensive training provided.
• Ability to lift/push 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs in electronic medical records.
• Assist patients with meals, bathing, toileting, mobility and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed.
