Job summary

Mercy Hospital Washington is seeking a Patient Care Associate (PCA) to join our Cardiac Telemetry team. You will work closely with RNs and LPNs to deliver compassionate, high-quality care, document vital signs, assist with activities of daily living, and support clerical tasks as needed.

No prior experience required — we provide full training, with BLS due within one month and PCA competencies within 3 months. The role offers strong growth potential and benefits from day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, CNA/CPTC, or enrollment in healthcare programs.
• No prior experience required — we provide full training!
• Physical ability to lift/push 50 lbs, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform physical patient care tasks
• Preferred: CNA certification
• BLS certification required within one month of hire
• Complete PCA competencies within 3 months to stay on the team

Responsibilities

• Take and document vital signs in electronic medical records.
• Assist patients with meals, bathing, toileting, mobility, and transport.
• Provide clerical support as needed
