The Patient Care Assistant II (PCA II) is a certified individual who performs direct care in the department setting. The PCA II maintains current certification in patient care and is responsible for assisting patients with activities of daily living, providing basic nursing care to all patients, and helping maintain a safe environment under the supervision of the RN, as long as the activity does not interfere with primary responsibilities like dysrhythmia monitoring.

The estimated total compensation range for this role is $18.90 to $28.01 per hour, based on factors such as experience, education, credentials, and licensure.
