An established healthcare provider seeks a dedicated Telemetry Technician to monitor cardiac rhythms and respond to alarms for patient safety. This role involves using advanced tools like Philips e-calipers to measure cardiac cycles and ensuring accurate documentation of patient data. · Performs tasks related to monitoring of cardiac rhythms of all assigned patients.
· Observes telemetry cardiac monitors, listening for and responding to all alarms.
· Using Philips e-calipers, measures cardiac cycles and pertinent intervals on graphic sheets. Posts a minimum of one strip every 8 hours on every assigned patient's chart and posts strips in response to significant changes in patient's cardiac rate and/or rhythm.
Position Requirements:
· High School diploma/GED required.
· Associate's Degree/Clinical Certification preferred.
· CNA certification preferred (At least 6 months of CNA/PCT experience required).
· Bilingual (Spanish) abilities highly desirable.
· Telemetry Class and Competency in EKG interpretation required.
Salary: $17.97 - $26.95 Hourly.
