Job summary

An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Cardiac Monitor Technician to oversee patient cardiac rhythms. In this vital role, you will be responsible for monitoring telemetry cardiac monitors, responding to alarms, and documenting significant changes in patients' cardiac rates. The ideal candidate will possess a high school diploma or GED, with preference given to those with an Associate's degree or clinical certification. Job description

Position Summary

  1. Performs tasks related to monitoring of cardiac rhythms of all assigned patients.
  2. Observes telemetry cardiac monitors, listening for and responding to all alarms.
  3. Using Philips e-calipers, measures cardiac cycles and pertinent intervals on graphic sheets. Posts a minimum of one strip every 8 hours on every assigned patient's chart and post strips in response to significant changes in patient's cardiac rate and or rhythm.

Position Requirements:

  1. High School diploma/ GED required.
  2. Associate's Degree/Clinical Certification preferred.
  3. CNA certification preferred (At least 6 months of CNA/PCT experience required).
  4. Bilingual (Spanish) abilities highly desirable.
  5. CPR certified.
  6. Telemetry Class and Competency in EKG interpretation.

Hourly Rate: $17.97 - $26.95
