Qualifications

• Six months nursing assistant experience
• Successful completion of Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) program
• Completion of one semester of clinical rotations within an accredited nursing program
• High school diploma or GED

Responsibilities

• Assists in delivery of patient care under RN supervision
• Performs personal care: feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving and transporting patients, changing linens
• Collects and documents vital signs and observations
• Performs phlebotomy draws as delegated from the lab
• Assists RN with admissions, transfers and discharges
• Performs hourly rounding and patient room turnover
• Documents health status data and observations
• Maintains safety and uses proper equipment for transfers/lifts
