Job summary

Allina Health is seeking a Nursing Assistant to support patient care under RN supervision in Saint Paul, MN. This 0.8 FTE role covers 32 hours per two-week pay period across 8-hour day/evening shifts, with every other weekend rotation.

Responsibilities include personal care, vital signs documentation, and assisting with admissions, transfers and discharge. Requires CNA program completion or equivalent clinical experience; BLS is preferred. Benefits include medical, PTO and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• Must meet one of the following: 18 years of age OR 17 years with HS diploma or GED
• Must meet one of the following: CNA program completion OR clinical rotations in an accredited nursing program OR Nursing Assistant Academy OR direct patient care experience

Responsibilities

• Performs personal care and interventions as assigned (feeding, bathing, dressing, grooming, moving, linen changes).
• Collects and documents vital signs and other patient observations.
• Observes and reports health status data to the RN.
• Assists in admission, transfer, discharge, and post‑mortem care as needed.
