Job summary

PT Solutions Physical Therapy is hiring a part-time Patient Service Coordinator in Jersey City, NJ. You’ll connect patients, providers, and insurers to keep the care journey seamless and efficient.

Responsibilities include verifying insurance, obtaining prior authorizations, coordinating referrals, and managing schedules. Expect ongoing training, mentorship, and clear advancement paths in a nationwide PT practice.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 1-2 years of customer service experience; healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Reconcile patient payments and units billed while following HIPAA guidelines.
• Verify insurance coverage and manage benefits.
• Obtain authorization and/or prior authorization.
• Oversee daily collections and reconcile charges weekly and monthly.
• Maintain relationships with patients, providers, clinicians, and internal departments.
