Responsibilities

• Resolve accounts to ensure collection of expected payment and resolve complex customer service issues.
• Complete daily work assignments timely and accurately per productivity and quality standards.
• Follow department guidelines for best practice routines.
• Identify and implement process improvements through tracking and feedback.
• Pursue single-touch resolution to accelerate outcomes and resolve accounts.
• Understand revenue cycle and secure reimbursements from insurance or patients.
• Contact payers via portal or provider service center to facilitate resolution.
• Process external and internal correspondence in a timely manner.
• Verify insurance and patient demographics and explain patient liability when needed.
• Apply knowledge of Epic and other billing systems to ensure accurate payments.
