Job summary

UEW Health is seeking a Patient Benefits Specialist to serve as the primary liaison for patients navigating EEOICPA and RECA. This entry-level role in the Experience Department focuses on delivering compassionate patient assistance, coordinating with teams, and clear communication.

You will manage patient records with CRM tools, uphold HIPAA, and build strong relationships with patients, representatives, and internal partners while delivering outstanding service.

Qualifications

• Willingness to undergo training on EEOICPA/RECA.
• Customer service or telephone support experience.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality.
• Must pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary contact for patients regarding medical-card benefits and explain the EEOICPA/RECA programs.
• Input and maintain patient records using CRM systems; ensure HIPAA privacy.
• Develop strong relationships with patients, representatives, case managers and internal teams.
• Provide outstanding customer service and strive to improve patient satisfaction.
• Represent the company professionally to ensure patients receive support.
