Job summary

Valeris in Louisville, KY is seeking a Benefits Specialist to provide telephonic and web-based support to patients, healthcare providers, and insurers. You will verify benefits, assist with enrollment, and resolve barriers to therapy access in compliance with SOPs.

You will work with payer guidelines, communicate eligibility, and use PharmaCord Lynk to process claims while delivering compassionate customer service. Strong communication and confidentiality are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• 6 months customer service experience or payer benefits experience preferred.
• Bilingual is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-depth knowledge of client programs to patients, healthcare providers and insurers.
• Answer inquiries, process service requests, assess benefits coverage and remove barriers to therapy access.
• Support verification of benefits and prior authorizations per SOP and regulatory guidance.
• Utilize PharmaCord Lynk to complete claims processing and keep workflows moving.
• Deliver high-quality customer service while maintaining confidentiality and compliance.
