Valeris provides a comprehensive life sciences commercialization platform and now seeks a Benefits Specialist to support patients, providers, and payers. You will verify benefits, handle service requests, and navigate coverage barriers to ensure access to therapy.

The role combines telephonic and web-based customer service in an office setting, emphasizing compliance, confidentiality, and patient-centric support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree strongly preferred or equivalent experience.
• 6 months customer service experience or healthcare payer experience preferred.
• Ability to handle personal health information confidentially.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills and office software.

Responsibilities

• Verify patient benefits for major medical and pharmacy plans.
• Coordinate prior authorizations per payer guidelines.
• Review patient assistance enrollment and determine eligibility.
• Communicate eligibility to patients, providers, and pharmacies.
• Assist inbound callers and resolve inquiries with FAQ or warm transfers.
• U se internal systems to process claims and keep workflows moving.
