Job summary

Ascension is seeking a Patient Attendant for night PRN shifts at multiple Nashville area locations. You will remain at the bedside, help calm agitated patients, identify hazards, and record observations to ensure patient safety.

Position requires flexibility to work across listed locations; licensure is preferred (BLS/CPR) and education requirements allow equivalency or experience in lieu of formal education.

Qualifications

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
• Certification specializing in Crisis Prevention preferred.
• High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Remain at bedside of assigned patient at all times unless relieved by an appropriate staff member.
• Assist in calming and/or reorienting patient in cases of agitation or confusion.
• Remove visible hazards and/or broken equipment from immediate environment and report as appropriate.
• Record all observations.

Education

What Minimum Requirements You’ll Need

Licensure / Certification / Registration:

• Note: Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.
