How will you make a difference?

The Patient Advocate assists the CEO, leadership, PI/Risk Director, and medical staff in carrying out and implementing a comprehensive and integrated program.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in preparing, coordinating, and documenting Patient Satisfaction Surveys.
  • Maintain records of reviews, evaluations, and process improvement activities.
  • Develop and implement Patient Experience training programs supporting the organization’s mission.
  • Undertake special projects to improve patient satisfaction and experience.
  • Assist the CEO and Risk/PI Director with surveys from Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and state agencies.
  • Assist in data collection and submission for monitoring by The Joint Commission and CMS.
  • Manage official correspondence from accrediting agencies.
  • Prepare reports as assigned by leadership.
  • Fulfill responsibilities as Human Rights Officer.
  • Follow the patient grievance process, investigate complaints, document actions, and communicate results.
