Job summary

H/K/B Cosmetic Surgery in Charlotte, NC is seeking a full-time Patient Advisor to join our upscale plastic surgery center. The role sits in our Charlotte office and hours are Monday–Friday 9am–5pm, with a focus on delivering outstanding patient service and administrative support.

You will answer a high volume of patient calls, schedule appointments, maintain patient records in Nextech EMR, and assist patients with directions and rescheduling.

Qualifications

• Plastic Surgery or Dermatology experience is preferred.
• 2 years working in a medical office environment.
• High School diploma or equivalent education.
• Equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

• Answer and respond to a high volume of patient calls
• Provide excellent customer service etiquette
• Schedule appointments and follow up visits for new and existing patients
• Utilize electronic records system to create and update patient information
• Collect basic patient information
• Monitor where and when physicians are scheduled and what procedures they perform
• Assist patients with relevant office location directions as needed
• Call patients and assist with rescheduling needs as they arise
• Take messages for office locations as needed and relay them to the appropriate location or physician

A little bit about the position:

The Patient Advisor will play a key role in the Administrative functioning of the business.
