Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking an Admitting Representative to accurately collect demographic and financial information and verify insurance benefits for patients. The role involves pre-certifications, deposits, and updating patient files across multiple systems.

You'll work full-time with varied shifts and rotating holidays, including early mornings and night options. A high school diploma and data-entry skills are required, with BLS certification or readiness to obtain it within 90 days.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 0–1 year of experience in medical settings or heavy customer service with data entry.
• Current BLS certification or ability to obtain within 90 days post hire.
• Ability to complete AVADE training within 30 days from start date.

Responsibilities

• Obtain complete and accurate demographic and financial information from patients and sources.
• Obtain required signatures on legal consents and insurance forms.
• Enter data into computer systems and document incomplete admissions/registrations.
• Notify patients about insurance coverage issues, co-pays, deductibles, or deposits.
• Review physician orders for completion and ensure all information is listed.
