Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred, with two years’ experience in customer service for a health care facility/clinic or 4 years of customer service in lieu.
• Bilingual skills strongly desired.

Responsibilities

• Interact professionally with patients, families, guests and customers and resolve account balance questions.
• Update system demographics, insurance information and patient issues with audit trail within three working days.
• Resolve operational concerns and communicate with interdepartmental stakeholders to fix system/process errors.
• Establish payment arrangements and educate patients on account resolution options.
• Serve as liaison between medical staff, support staff and patients regarding billing and collection issues.
• Research data to ensure accuracy of accounts and provide documentation to management.
