Job summary

The Ohio State University Health System Shared Services | Patient Accounting is seeking a Patient Accounting Supervisor (HS) to oversee staff responsible for account receivable billing/recovery and patient customer service calls. You will lead workflow, train the team, and ensure timely, accurate financial operations from the Ackerman Road Administrative Offices.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience with 3 years minimum, and 4-8 years preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Patient Financial Services Specialist staff and department workflow.
• Monitor quantity and quality of work; distribute tasks accordingly.
• Prioritize and schedule daily work; provide leadership in operations.
• Train staff; communicate procedural and regulatory changes; perform financial analysis.
• Address escalated issues with third parties and patients in a timely, customer-focused manner.
