Qualifications

• Two years healthcare experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates and schedules patient care for wellness programs and communicates between scheduling staff and all user departments, physicians, and physician office staff.
• Answers telephone inquiries regarding physician referrals and covers front desk duties when needed; maintains patient scheduling database.
• Collaborates with Patient Financial Services to obtain appropriate authorizations and submits retro-authorization as needed; files and appeals denials of services.
• Develops the monthly Wellness newsletter, updates the website, and develops promotional flyers; participates in training; performs other duties as assigned by department leadership.
