Spokane Eye Clinic, a PRISM Vision Group Partner Practice, seeks a Patient Services Representative (Triage) to manage patient access functions, schedule visits, and coordinate care across reception and registration processes.

The role requires 2+ years in patient-facing healthcare or customer service, high school diploma or GED, and strong English communication. Expect 7:30am–5pm, full-time, with travel between local offices as needed.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Graduate or GED required.
• Experience: 2+ years in patient-facing healthcare or customer service preferred.
• Must adhere to HIPAA and maintain confidentiality.

Responsabilités

• Register patients and complete pre-registration with accurate demographics and insurance.
• Verify insurance, benefits, and referrals; collect payments and explain charges.
• Assist with appointment scheduling and care coordination to ensure smooth patient flow.
• Provide upfront financial counseling and identify payment plans or funding resources.
• Communicate information about appointments, policies, and records; liaise with physicians and staff.
• Train other PSRs and maintain compliance with policies.
