Prism Vision Group, at Spokane Eye Clinic in Spokane, WA, seeks an onsite Patient Service Representative to handle registration, scheduling, and patient financial counseling. The role involves inbound/outbound interactions, insurance verification, and ensuring smooth clinic flow.

The PSR supports revenue cycle activities, maintains HIPAA standards, and collaborates with physicians and staff to resolve issues and improve the patient experience. Travel to nearby locations may occur as needed.

Formación

• 2+ years experience in a patient-facing healthcare function or other customer service.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
• Strong problem-solving and cash-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians, staff, and patients from diverse backgrounds.
• HIPAA compliance and patient privacy adherence.

Responsabilidades

• Schedule and complete full registration for patients requesting appointments with attention to detail.
• Initiate pre-registration and keep demographic/insurance info up to date.
• Verify insurance, benefits, and referrals as needed.
• Collect IDs and insurance cards and validate patient identity.
• Provide upfront financial counseling and explain payment policies.
• Facilitate patient flow and serve as liaison between patients, physicians and staff.
