Qualifications

• Healthcare experience required.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Able to work in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service orientation to support EMTALA-sensitive processes.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for transfer/admission requests and route to the appropriate clinician.
• Collect and verify patient demographics, referral details, and operational information.
• Manage multi-line phone activity and coordinate with facilities, EMS, and transport teams.
• Document call details in the EHR and transfer management systems with accuracy.
• Escalate red flags and coordinate non-clinical transport logistics as needed.
