Job summary

Conifer Health is seeking a Supervisor - Patient Access in Mount Pleasant, SC to guide and mentor staff, manage daily workflows, and ensure accurate financial clearance processes. You will lead a team, handle escalations, and ensure adherence to hospital and corporate policies.

You will partner with departments across Admitting, Scheduling, ED, and clinics, monitor performance metrics, and contribute to planning and reporting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred.
• Experience in medical facilities or health insurance is desirable.
• Leadership capabilities and ability to supervises teams.

Responsibilities

• Mentor and train new hires and existing staff; assist with escalated issues.
• Assist in planning for Registration Process areas including Admitting, Centralized Scheduling, ED, and clinics.
• Maintain positive customer service and help resolve issues.
• Enforce policies and help develop new policies per hospital and corporate guidelines.
• Monitor daily activity and prepare performance/financial clearance reports; handle special projects.
• Perform all Patient Access functions as needed.
• Support management to meet operational goals.
