Job summary

Johns Hopkins Howard County Medical Center (HCMC) seeks a Team Lead for Admitting/Registration to supervise Patient Access Representatives and support admitting staff on day and weekend shifts. You will round on staff, provide guidance, and collaborate with hospital leadership to ensure smooth patient intake processes.

Minimum requirements include a high school diploma or GED and 5+ years of healthcare admitting/registration experience, with prior supervisory duties preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 5+ years healthcare experience in Admitting/Registration.
• Prior leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience with Epic is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Patient Access Representatives during the 7am-3:30pm shift.
• Provide guidance to Admitting Staff on day and weekend shifts.
• Perform daily rounding of staff to ensure needs are met and questions answered.
• Participate in daily huddles and communicate with hospital leadership.
• Assist Manager in creating agendas and attend monthly staff meetings.
• Ensure daily reports for auditing and tracking are completed.
