Job summary

R1 RCM Inc. is seeking a Patient Access Team Lead at Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN.

This onsite role leads a team of Patient Access Representatives and oversees registration, scheduling, and front-end revenue cycle activities in collaboration with hospital leadership. The ideal candidate has prior leadership or supervisory experience, thrives in a fast-paced environment, communicates effectively with patients and staff, and is comfortable navigating multiple

Responsibilities

Lead and support the daily activities of the Patient Access team.
Coach and mentor team members while helping drive engagement and performance.
Monitor productivity, staffing, quality, and operational metrics.
Partner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for improvement.
Support registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient intake workflows.
Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams.
Assist with reporting, compliance, and other operational initiatives.
