Ascension St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital in Murfreesboro, TN is seeking a Patient Access Team Lead to lead a team of Patient Access Representatives. This onsite role focuses on registration, scheduling, and front-end revenue cycle activities while partnering with hospital leadership to improve operations and patient experience.

• Has previous leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience.

• Comfortable navigating multiple computer systems.
• Healthcare, Patient Access, registration, admissions, scheduling, insurance verification, revenue cycle, or customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the daily activities of the Patient Access team.
• Coach and mentor team members while helping drive engagement and performance.
• Monitor productivity, staffing, quality, and operational metrics.
• Partner with hospital leadership to identify opportunities for improvement.
• Support registration, scheduling, insurance verification, and patient intake workflows.
• Serve as a liaison between clinical and administrative teams.
