THRIVE in New York seeks a Senior Patient Access Assistant to be the primary contact for patients, visitors, and staff, shaping a welcoming, professional first impression. You will supervise Patient Access Assistants and support outpatient front desk operations, including check-in, scheduling, and insurance verification.

The role emphasizes staff coaching, process improvement, and maintaining accurate clinical records in compliance with HIPAA.

Competenze

• Associate's degree in human services or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• At least 1 year of job-related medical, mental health, or chronic-condition experience.
• Preferred: 2 years of supervisory experience.

Mansioni

• Lead the patient access team in coordinating daily central intake duties.
• Train and coach Patient Access Assistants to promote efficient workflows and high-quality care.
• Provide corrective guidance and escalate concerns as needed.
• Manage front desk activities: check-in/out, scheduling, insurance verification, and phone support.
