Job summary

VillageMD is seeking a Front Desk professional to greet patients, schedule appointments, and manage patient flow across hospital and ambulatory visits. You will prepare charts, handle referrals, and maintain accurate, confidential records in a fast-paced clinic setting.

This role requires strong English communication, excellent customer service, and basic computer/data entry skills in a Windows environment.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Associate Degree preferred.
• Heartsaver within 30 days of hire.
• Previous PSR/office experience preferred.
• Ability to communicate clearly in English, both verbally and written.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and families and schedule appointments.
• Schedule hospital and ambulatory admissions/procedures as directed.
• Answer phones promptly and redirect calls appropriately.
• Prepare charts for new patients and convert temporary records to permanent.
• Maintain patient information confidentiality and update records as needed.
• Monitor supplies and assist with clerical duties such as faxing, copying and filing.
