Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with two years of qualifying hospital admin experience.
• Experience supervising admissions, reception and transportation tasks.
• Experience coordinating client intake and benefits/authorization steps.

Responsibilities

• Supervise admissions, reception/switchboard and transportation staff.
• Schedule, train, coach, and evaluate staff performance.
• Oversee the admission process with clinical and financial teams for required documentation and verification.
• Coordinate visitor reception and after-hours call routing.
• Arrange client transportation, drivers and escorts as needed.
• Act as admissions EHR super user and partner with IT on system improvements.
• Monitor department performance and prepare reports to improve workflows and compliance.
