Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a Patient Access Manager to supervise and optimize registration, scheduling, and admitting functions across clinics and hospitals in Omaha. You will lead a team of Patient Access Specialists, ensuring efficient patient flow and high-quality service, with strong collaboration with clinical leaders.

You will oversee training, performance coaching, and compliance with regulatory standards while maintaining staffing levels and resolving issues promptly to support the patient

Qualifications

• Associate degree in business, healthcare, or a related field is required.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in Physician and/or Hospital front-office setting, including experience with 3rd party payers, customer service, quality assurance, collections, registration and/or admitting is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and oversees Patient Access and Admitting operations on-site and off-site for BTNRH Clinics and Hospitals.
• Oversees interviewing, selection, evaluation of performance and coaching of Patient Access Specialists.
• Manages daily activities and coaching to ensure optimal patient care experience.
• Tracks workflows, staffing, productivity and quality, and implements changes as needed.
