Job summary

Boys Town is seeking a front desk/registration colleague to greet patients and families warmly, verify insurance, collect payments, and coordinate scheduling across clinics in Omaha and Council Bluffs. The role emphasizes accurate data entry, clear communication, and collaboration with the Patient Financial Counselor.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification within 120 days of hire or transfer required.
• Experience in clinic/hospital setting preferred (3 years).

Responsibilities

• Greet and register patients, families, vendors and visitors in a professional manner.
• Verify demographic and insurance information and determine eligibility/benefit details.
• Collect co-payments and outstanding balances; process payments and deposits.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with departments for admissions and pre-authorization.
• Communicate benefit and liability information to patients and coordinate with Financial Counseling.
