Job summary

Tenet HealthCare’s Conifer Health division seeks a Patient Access representative to support scheduling, registration, pre-admission/admission, and discharge processes. You will collect demographic data accurately, explain patient responsibilities, and follow compliant cash collection practices.

The role requires knowledge of hospital operations, strong customer service, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with potential multi-area coverage including Emergency Department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility, health insurance, or related area preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, register at date of service, explain and secure hospital and patient forms.
• Educate patients on financial liabilities and collect payments per policy.
• Secure eligibility verification, obtain insurance authorizations, and coordinate post-discharge care when needed.
