Avera McKennan Hospital in Sioux Falls, SD is seeking a Revenue Cycle Supervisor to oversee front end operations. The role ensures compliance with policies, coordinates projects, trains staff, and maintains scheduling systems to support accurate patient access and financial clearance.

You will partner with clinical departments and leadership to optimize workflow, improve denial avoidance, and deliver effective solutions while maintaining compassionate patient service in a busy hospital

Qualificações

• Associate’s or equivalent experience in Business, Health Information Management, or related field.
• 1-3 years front-end revenue cycle supervisory/leadership experience in a large healthcare setting.
• 1-3 years proven experience managing multiple projects and personnel effectively.

Responsabilidades

• Provide daily tracking of workflow and optimize turnaround times.
• Ensure up-to-date policies and assist in development of new policies and procedures.
• Evaluate staff productivity to ensure efficiency and compliance.
• Coordinate pre-registration, pre-certification, pre-authorization, payer notification, insurance verification, financial counseling, referrals, and denial avoidance.
• Coordinate staff onboarding and in services, and assist with computer software/process projects.
• Create and maintain staff schedules in line with budget and reimbursement guidelines.
• Foster cooperation with physician offices and hospital departments to ensure efficient patient access areas.
• Provide leadership updates on Patient Access processes and staffing issues to leadership.
• Interview, hire, develop, train, and coach staff; plan, assign and lead work.
