Avera Gastroenterology Sioux Falls is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented patient access representative to join our front desk team. You will welcome patients, verify demographics and insurance, obtain necessary authorizations, and ensure accurate registration in the clinic system.

In this role you will handle calls, route messages, and support scheduling while maintaining confidentiality and delivering compassionate service that reflects Avera’s CARE values.

Formación

• High School or GED or equivalent required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients and team members.
• Must be able to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.

Responsabilidades

• Greet and check in patients, register and verify demographics and insurance.
• Obtain and verify required authorizations and consents.
• Scan patient information into the record.
• Answer calls and route messages to appropriate departments.
• Schedule appointments and coordinate with nurses and physicians.
