Job summary

You will lead workflow optimization, collaborate with leadership, and drive improvements in pre-authorization, verification, and financial counseling to enhance patient experience and reimbursement outcomes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent in Business, Health Information Management, or related field.
• 1-3 years front-end revenue cycle supervisory/leadership experience in a large healthcare setting.
• Proven experience managing multiple projects and personnel effectively.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily tracking of workflow functions and implement solutions to assure turnaround times are met.
• Prioritizes workflow and staffing assignments.
• Maintains statistical information to optimize staffing for customer service.
• Coordinate pre-registration, pre-certification, pre-authorization, payer notification, insurance verification, financial counseling, referrals, and denial avoidance.
• Coordinate staff onboarding and in-services; validate competencies.
