Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate degree preferred.

• Experience with EHR and Practice Management Systems preferred.
• Knowledge of medical office terminology preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet visitors, patients and families in a friendly, professional manner and direct them accordingly.
• Maintain efficient patient flow through the registration process and provide excellent customer service to patients/families.
• Answer telephone calls promptly, direct calls, take messages and forward to the appropriate person.
• Inform patients of delays and assist with patient comfort while waiting.
• Process self-pay charges, collect payments, and provide receipts; reconcile daily payments.
