Job summary

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Patient Access Representative to greet and direct patients and families to testing and surgical areas in a courteous, welcoming manner. You will also assist with patient registration and information exchange to promote understanding of procedures.

The role requires an Associate's degree or 2 years of formal education, plus 2 years' experience in customer service, healthcare, or related fields. On-site PRN hours apply, with vaccination requirements for staff.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or 2 years formal education or equivalent experience.
• Two (2) years' work experience in customer service, healthcare or business-related field.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct patients and families to testing and surgical areas in a courteous and welcoming manner.
• Register patients by obtaining and verifying information in the registration system expediently.
• Promote patient understanding of procedures and hospital environment with clear, friendly communication.
• Exercise a high degree of confidentiality for medical information and keep areas well stocked and organized.
• Collaborate with PAS leadership and staff to fulfill duties and adapt to changes as needed.
