Responsibilities

• Check in patients for appointments and verify demographics.
• Explain insurance responsibilities and collect applicable fees at service.
• Read and interpret insurance responses and assign primary/secondary/tertiary coverages.
• Maintain privacy information and obtain necessary signatures.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and coordinate referrals or pre-certifications.
• Post cash and process payments following department guidelines.
• Communicate with patients about financial obligations and next steps.
