Responsibilities include processing insurance details, communicating financial obligations, and ensuring HIPAA-compliant, accurate patient records and privacy at all times.

Qualifications

• Front desk/front-line office experience preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Experience reading and interpreting insurance responses is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Check in patients and verify demographics accurately.
• Monitor wait times and inform patients of changes as needed.
• Read and interpret insurance responses and determine coverage tier.
• Explain financial obligations and collect fees at time of service.
• Schedule follow-up appointments and manage referrals as applicable.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
