Job summary

Baptist Health in Florida is seeking a Patient Access Associate to support the revenue cycle, assist with patient registration and financial screening, and ensure a positive patient throughput experience.

You will verify information, collect payments, and cooperate with the clinical team to deliver seamless service. Weekend/holiday availability may be required; bilingual English/Spanish or Creole is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School, Cert, GED, Trn, Exper.
• Associates Degree preferred.
• Complete and pass the Patient Access training course.
• Ability to work in fast-paced public health or Revenue Cycle setting with experience in payment collection.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for completing varied duties to support the revenue cycle, compliance, and patient experience by accurately and efficiently completing tasks in areas of registration, financial screening, verification, and patient throughput.
• Maintain close working relationship with clinical team to ensure seamless experience for patients and caregivers.
• Must be able to work weekends, holidays, and during disastrous events as essential staff.
