Responsibilities

• Facilitate patient entry into Mercy facilities including scheduling, registration and financial clearance.
• Perform benefit verification and pre-certification tasks.
• Assist with pre-visit collection and ensure accurate patient data is entered into the system.
• Maintain knowledge of insurance carriers, Medicare guidelines and regulatory requirements.
