CHS Career Site is seeking a Registrar to support patient care by accurately capturing and verifying demographic and insurance information during in-person and telephone interactions. You will schedule procedures, secure authorizations, and maintain organized patient records while delivering exceptional customer service.

Responsibilities include verification of insurance eligibility, pre-registration, and assisting patients with insurance requirements.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education or training in medical office administration or healthcare administration preferred.
• 0–2 years of healthcare experience including patient registration, scheduling, or front desk admissions required.
• Knowledge of insurance verification and medical terminology is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and assist with registration and scheduling.
• Verify demographics and insurance information for accuracy and completeness.
• Obtain authorizations and pre-register scheduled patients.
• Explain financial responsibilities and collect co-pays or deductibles where applicable.
• Maintain complete and accurate patient records and documentation.
• Coordinate with physician offices regarding schedules and procedures.
