Allegheny Health Network is seeking a Patient Access professional to complete scheduling, preregistration and financial clearance, presenting AHN's services clearly to patients and families.

The role involves verifying insurance, calculating estimates, collecting payments, and documenting in the ADT system, while supporting physician offices and external partners to deliver a positive, compliant patient experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience.
• One year of related experience preferred in medical, financial services, or customer service.
• Experience operating a PC and using software applications.

Responsabilités

• Performs scheduling, preregistration, benefits verification and data accuracy.
• Verifies insurance, handles authorizations/referrals, and documents deficiencies.
• Calculates patient financial responsibility and processes collections in ADT.
• Delivers positive patient experience and maintains stakeholder relationships.
• Maintains productivity and suggests process improvements.
• Follows policies and completes mandatory trainings.
