Qualifications

• Minimum typing skills of 35 wpm.
• Knowledge of function and relationships within a hospital environment preferred.
• Customer service skills and experience.
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
• Understanding of Third Party Payor requirements preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, complete full patient registration, explain and secure hospital and patient forms.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and collect patient payments per policy.
• Verify insurance, benefits, coverage & eligibility; obtain authorizations and coordinate post-discharge care as needed.
