Job summary

Conifer Health, part of the Tenet family, operates at San Ramon Medical Center and is seeking a Patient Access Representative to support scheduling, registration, pre-admission and discharge tasks. This role requires obtaining accurate patient demographics and applying compliant liability collection practices.

You will work Mon-Fri 8:30 AM-5:00 PM, greet patients, verify insurance, complete registrations, and coordinate post-discharge needs while maintaining Conifer Standards of Care and

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 0–1 year in a Customer Service role.
• 0–1 year administrative experience in medical facility/health insurance preferred.
• Some college coursework is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients, provide customer service, register patients at the point of service.
• Educate patients about financial liabilities and collect payments per policy.
• Verify insurance, obtain authorizations, and coordinate post-discharge care when needed.
