Responsibilities

• Registers patients and handles all registration functions, collecting consents and financial paperwork.
• Answers phones and assists patients in accessing care with timely, service-oriented communications.
• Handles non-clinical questions with professional, courteous service.
• Performs documentation audits for medical necessity and payor requirements in EMR systems.
• Schedules procedures and arranges pre/post-exam instructions and reminders as needed.
• Maintains organized patient files and scans records for accessibility.
• Manages incoming mail, email, faxes, and calls, routing queries to the right staff.
• Monitors and orders front desk supplies to control costs and supports staff meetings.
