Job summary

Qualifications

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Certifications: CHAA or CRCR preferred.
• Experience: hospital or physician office registration and scheduling, insurance verification, and/or customer service experience preferred.
• Must have de-escalation training by end of orientation (90 days).
• Excellent written and verbal communication and strong attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or their representatives to collect complete demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Screen for insurance pre-certification requirements.
• Identify the patient accurately and uphold privacy practices and patient rights.
• Contribute to revenue cycle by accurate registrations and related tasks.
