Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience in hospital or physician office registration and scheduling, insurance verification, and/or customer service preferred.
• Strong communication skills and ability to de-escalate in stressful situations.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients or their representatives to collect demographic, financial, and insurance information for billing and pre-certification.
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of registrations and maintain patient privacy and rights.
• Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries and scheduling as needed.
