Singing River Health System is seeking a Patient Access Services Registration Specialist at Singing River Gulfport Hospital. This role welcomes patients and visitors, interviewing them to collect accurate demographics, insurance, and billing information and guiding them through registration.

The position emphasizes de-escalation, privacy practices, and revenue-cycle accuracy, under the direction of the Patient Access Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; some college preferred.
• Experience in hospital or physician office registration and scheduling preferred.
• Certification: CHAA or CRCR preferred.
• Must complete de-escalation training by orientation (90 days).

Responsabilités

• Interview patients to obtain demographic, financial, and insurance information for billing.
• Verify insurance details and perform pre-certification screening as needed.
• Ensure accuracy and privacy of patient records and comply with privacy practices.
• Maintain accuracy in registrations and related tasks; report to supervisor.
