Job summary

You will screen for insurance pre-certification, verify details, and ensure accurate records while maintaining patient privacy and high service standards in a busy healthcare setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Some college preferred.
• CHAA or CRCR certifications preferred.
• Experience in hospital or physician office settings preferred.
• De-escalation training by orientation (90 days) required.

Responsibilities

• Interview patients and/or their representatives to collect demographic, financial, and insurance information.
• Screen for insurance pre-certification requirements.
• Identify patients correctly and ensure privacy practices.
• Support the Revenue Cycle with accurate registrations and timely tasks.
• Follow scheduling, registration, and customer service standards.
